The New New Feelings

oh how times have changed, 

the life we had, 

the life so lame,

breakin in a new game, 

and the smile of newness, 

lasts for days, 

feelin the sun in a million ways, 

i feel it all when your smile i raise.

 

this old sore spot-torn up-emptied, 

and beginning to refill, 

but this time its a holy type of happiness, 

that warms through the warn down tissue, 

bringing out the best in me, 

all the smiling strains my cheeks,

 

so far all is crystal clear,

better both in intellect,

and mental stimulation,

the heat I feel beneath the sheets,

makes me crave sensation,

 

the closer that we become,

increases my tempatation,

but i will hold back my minds burning contemplations,

not to taint this solid thing,

this hopeful aspiration,

and as this new smile regime,

simmers in my heart and dreams,

i'll have to to hold my breath it seems,

to make this something worthy of gold stars.
